Pedestrian Safety: Requires driver to stop at certain intersections to allow pedestrian to cross roadway when pedestrian is either in or steps into crosswalk; directs that fines received be used by DHSMV to educate public about pedestrian safety & traffic laws governing crosswalks.
Effective Date: July 1, 2008.
