SB 510 (2008) -  School-entry/Vision Examinations [SPCC]

Requires that children who are entering school present evidence of having received a comprehensive vision examination which was performed within one year of their enrollment in school. Allows each district school board, and the governing authority of each private school, to establish a policy that permits a student up to 120 school days to present a certification of the vision exam, etc.
Effective Date: 07/01/2008 except as otherwise provided
