SB 998 (2008) -  Retirement Benefits for Public School Personnel [SPCC]

Extends the time period during which public school personnel members may participate in the Florida Retirement System Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP). Provides that an eligible member may participate, under specific circumstances, for a period of up to 96 calendar months immediately following the date on which the member first reaches his or her normal retirement date, etc.
