HB 1057 (2008) -  Unemployment Compensation

Redefines term "base period" for purposes of determining eligibility for benefits; provides alternative base period; provides applicability & calculation; prohibits certain persons choosing to separate from employment from being disqualified from regular unemployment compensation; prohibits certain unemployed individuals from disqualification for eligibility for unemployment compensation benefits based solely on individual's availability for only part-time work.
