SB 2738 (2008) -  Immigration Status of Inmates [LPCC]

Requires the Department of Corrections and the administrator of each county or municipal detention facility to train personnel processing inmates in identification of false or fraudulent immigration status documentation and other indicators of illegal presence in the United States. Requires notification of federal officials whenever it is suspected that an inmate is not in the country legally, etc.
