HB 1385 (2008) -  Governmental Reorganization

Creates Department of Gaming Control, to be headed by Gaming Commission; transfers & reassigns divisions, functions, & responsibilities, including records, personnel, property, & unexpended balances of appropriations & other resources from DOL, DBPR, FDLE, & DLA to Department of Gaming Control; provides for regulation of skill-based machine gaming.
Effective Date: July 1, 2008, if HB 1387, or similar legislation creating the Florida Gaming Trust Fund, is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes law
