Pub. Rec./Assisted Living Facility Residents: Provides exemption from public records requirements for names & addresses of, medical services provided to, social & economic conditions or circumstances of, evaluations of personal information, medical data, & information received verifying income eligibility of, & amounts of medical assistance payments regarding resident transferred to or from, or discharged from, assisted living facility; provides for safeguarding of specified income information received from Social Security Administration or IRS; provides that exemption does not prohibit specified access; provides for review & repeal of exemption; provides statement of public necessity; prvides contingent effective date.
Effective Date: on the same date that HB 1401 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes law
