General Bill
Environmental Resources:
Provides for assessment of aggregate construction materials in state contingent upon specific appropriation; provides duties for DOT, DEP, DCA, & Florida Geological Survey; provides conditions for construction aggregate materials mining permitting; requires DEP to consider adverse impacts to all wetlands in aggregate mining permits; provides exemption for Miami-Dade County Lake Belt Area; prohibits local governments from enacting or enforcing actions prohibiting mining in certain lands; provides expedited permitting process for certain applications; provides requirements for challenge of agency actions; revises DEP powers & duties; authorizes counties to establish dedicated funds for certain projects; prohibits local government from requiring certain verification for certain projects; prohibits local governments from requiring documentation of certain project authorization.
