Condominiums: Requires coverage under condominium unit owner's residential property insurance policy to include specified amount of loss-assessment coverage; requires each policy to contain provision stating that such coverage is excess coverage; specifies when date of loss occurs; requires coverage for certain personal property to be responsibility of condominium unit owner under certain circumstances; revises board meeting notice requirements; requires insurance policies issued or renewed on or after specified date to conform to specified loss-assessment coverage requirements; revises & deletes provisions relating to hazard or casualty insurance coverage requirements, to conform; deletes provision requiring condominium associations to request evidence of currently effective insurance policy from unit owners; deletes provision requiring condominium association to be additional named insured & loss payee on all casualty insurance policies issued to unit owners in condominium operated by association; revises requirements for reappointment of certain board members; revises board eligibility requirements; revises notice requirements for board candidates; establishes requirements for newly elected board members; extends period in which condominium common areas do not have to be retrofitted with sprinkler systems; provides that certain directors & officers delinquent in payment of any fee, fine, or regular or special assessments shall be deemed to have abandoned their office.
