General Bill by Higher Education Appropriations and Higher Education and Joyner
Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute [SPSC]: Establishes the Johhnie B. Byrd, Sr., Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute within the University of South Florida. Creates a board of directors to oversee the management and operation of the institute. Provides that the institute shall be administered by a CEO. Requires the CEO to actively seek grant moneys to fund research at the institute. Provides for the transfer of all assets & records of the institute to the university, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
