Public Accountancy: Removes authority of Board of Accountancy or DBPR to require that applicants for licensure as CPAs pass examination pertaining to state laws & rules; provides that CPA licensees are not subject to specified continuing education requirements for reactivation of license; specifies that members of board & probable cause panels who hold licenses must be licensed in Florida; deletes provisions requiring late filing fee; revises educational requirements for applicants for licensure; provides exception to work experience requirement for certain persons; deletes examination requirement for license renewal; deletes minimum continuing education requirement for reactivating inactive license; requires certain continuing education hours in ethics in order to reactivate certain licenses.
