SB 2288 (2009) -  Child Welfare [SPSC]

Adds family-centered practice to the principles upon which the child protection system should be based. Requires the DCFS to permanently keep all records of child abuse, abandonment, and neglect which relate to services provided to the child. Provides for a safety assessment as part of child protective investigations. Revises provisions relating to an injunction to protect a child. Requires the petition to be verified, etc.
