Motor Vehicle Dealerships: Revises prohibition of certain acts by motor vehicle manufacturer, factory branch, distributor, or importer who is licensee or applicant for license, prohibition against requiring dealer to relocate, substantially change, alter, remodel, or replace dealer's sales or service facilities, requirements for licensee-offered benefits, conditions & procedures for certain audits, prohibition against applicant or licensee taking adverse action against dealer because dealer sold or leased motor vehicle to customer who exported vehicle to foreign country or who resold vehicle, provisions for establishing additional motor vehicle dealership in or relocating existing dealer to location within community or territory where same line-make vehicle is presently represented, provisions for transfer, assignment, or sale of franchise agreements, & warranty responsibility provisions; requires certain payments if termination, cancellation, or nonrenewal of dealer's franchise is result of certain described circumstances; prohibits applicant or licensee from not offering benefit program to dealer in this state which it offers to other same line-make dealers.
