Tax on Sales, Use, and Other Transactions: Provides for 1-percent increase in sales tax rate; revises brackets for calculating sales tax amounts; provides for distribution of revenues from additional 1-percent increase in tax rate; provides for future 1-percent decrease in sales tax rate; provides for future revision of brackets for calculating sales tax amounts; provides for future deletion of provision providing for distribution of revenues from additional 1-percent increase in tax rate.
