HB 1545 (2010) -  Florida Kidcare Program

Provides that children under age 1 may participate in Medikids program; provides that children who are eligible for state-sponsored health benefit plan & subsidized Kidcare program may enroll in Florida Kidcare program; provides that eligible child who is lawful immigrant may enroll in Florida Kidcare program regardless of child's date of entry; authorizes Kidcare coverage for temporomandibular joint disease; provides that Medicaid-eligible children are deemed eligible for 12 months of coverage regardless of any change in circumstances; provides that pregnant woman is eligible for Medicaid for duration of pregnancy & postpartum period; expands membership of board of directors of Florida Healthy Kids Corporation; directs AHCA to implement federal Family Opportunity Act.
