HB 447 (2011) -  Green Job Creation

Provides definitions & definitional criteria that qualify jobs for green job corporate tax credits; provides tax credits against corporate income tax for creation of qualifying green jobs; specifies amount of tax credit allowed for each green job created & maximum number of jobs for which taxpayer may claim credit; limits availability of green job tax credits to specified period of tax years; provides for carryover of tax credit; restricts taxpayer from taking more than one tax credit for same job under certain circumstances; disqualifies jobs transferred from one location to another from tax credit eligibility; requires AWI to establish Green Collar Job Council; provides membership & duties & responsibilities of council; provides for annual reports of council.
