SB 686 (2011) -  Assisted Living Facilities

Removes a provision that authorizes the AHCA to deny a license to an applicant or controlling interest of a facility when the applicant or controlling interest has a financial or ownership interest in another licensed facility upon which specified sanctions have been imposed within a certain period of time. Removes a provision that requires the AHCA to provide certain information relating to assisted living facility license status to the Division of Hotels and Restaurants of the DBPR.
