CS/SB 1130 (2011) -  Retirement

General Bill by Governmental Oversight and Accountability and Ring (CO-SPONSORS) Alexander
Retirement: Requires employee and employer contributions to the retirement system by a certain date. Amends provisions relating to the membership class of elected officers. Provides for renewed membership in the retirement system for retirees who are reemployed after a certain date. Changes the name of the Public Employee Optional Retirement Program to the Florida Retirement System Investment Plan. Requires certain public employees employed on or after a certain date to enroll in the investment plan, etc.
Effective Date: July 1, 2011, except as otherwise provided
