General Bill by Budget Subcommittee on General Government Appropriations and Community Affairs and Health Regulation and Gaetz and Garcia
Sale or Lease of a County, District, or Municipal Hospital: Requiring that the governing board of a county, district, or municipal hospital evaluate the possible benefits to an affected community from the sale or lease of the hospital facility to a not-for-profit or for-profit entity within a specified time period; specifying the factors that must be considered by the governing board before accepting a proposal to sell or lease the hospital; providing that any general or special law that is inconsistent with or otherwise in conflict with the act is specifically superseded by the act, etc.
