CS/SB 1406 (2013) -  Juvenile Justice Education Programs

Revising provisions to be included in the multiagency education plan for students in juvenile justice education programs, including virtual education as an option; requiring the Department of Juvenile Justice to provide cost and effectiveness information for program and program activities to the Legislature and the public; authorizing instructional personnel at all juvenile justice facilities to access specific student records at the district; requiring the Department of Education to ensure that juvenile justice students who are eligible have access to high school equivalency testing, etc.
