Increasing the length of time that a person alleging a prohibited personnel action under the Whistle-blower’s Act has to file a complaint with the commission or the Chief Inspector General; revising the length of time by which a complainant may file a complaint with the Public Employees Relations Commission following termination of the Florida Commission on Human Relations’ investigation; specifying that an aggrieved person alleging certain violations of the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992 must file a civil action within a certain timeframe upon the commission’s failure to conciliate or determine probable cause, etc.
