SB 338 (2018) -  Victims of Human Trafficking

Requiring the Division of Hotels and Restaurants of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, in consultation with the Attorney General and state and national lodging associations, to adopt by rule one or more educational programs to train employees in the identification and reporting of suspected human trafficking activity; creating a civil cause of action for victims of human trafficking against a trafficker or facilitator; providing that such actions are not subject to a statute of limitations, etc.
