Requiring each district school board to require certified school counselors to advise public high school students of opportunities to gain skills in demand in the labor market and how to prepare to obtain postsecondary degrees in technical fields; requiring such advice to be given at least once per academic year before public high school students select courses for the subsequent academic year; requiring the Department of Education to provide resources to district school boards which may assist districts in offering the advice, etc.
