Mental Health Treatment and Examinations:
Specifies additional persons who may consent to mental health treatment; revises frequency with which restriction on patient's right to communicate or receive visitors must be reviewed; authorizes receiving facility & counties to seek assistance from mobile crisis response team; revises criteria for involuntary examination; revises standards for use of physical force & restraint in taking custody of persons subject to ex parte orders; revises provisions on return of firearms to persons after confiscation; revises who may testify as to patients history in considering criteria for involuntary outpatient services; specifies rights to treatment of persons in county & municipal detention facilities.
