General Bill by Appropriations and Banking and Insurance and Gruters (CO-SPONSORS) Bradley
Fraud Prevention: Requiring that the electronic credentialing system display certain vehicle information for specified purposes by a specified date; requiring sellers to allow consumers to cancel in a specified manner and by specified means service contracts that have automatic renewal provisions; revising maximum fines for public adjusters and public adjuster apprentices for certain violations under a specified circumstance; authorizing the Department of Financial Services to impose an administrative fine on insurance companies under certain circumstances, etc.
Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect upon becoming a law
