Creates Sickle Cell Disease Task Force adjunct to DOH; provides for membership, meetings, & duties of task force; requires task force to submit report to Governor & Legislature by specified date; provides for future expiration; requires department, in consultation with task force, to develop & implement comprehensive training & continuing education requirements for certain health care providers; requires Florida Public Health Institute, Inc., in consultation with department, to include sickle cell disease as part of its health awareness campaigns.
