944.48 Service of sentence.—Whenever any prisoner is convicted under the provisions of [1]ss. 944.41-944.47 the punishment of imprisonment imposed shall be served consecutively to any former sentence imposed upon any prisoner convicted hereunder.History.—s. 8, ch. 57-313.
