HB 87 CS (2004) -  Sexual Offenders

Prohibits certain sexual offenders subject to conditional release supervision from living within a specified distance of public schools and certain places where children congregate; prohibits persons convicted of certain sex crimes from residing within a specified distance of a school, day care center, park, playground, school bus stop, or other places where children congregate; requires the Department of Corrections to notify each school district within a specified time period of the location of the residence of a sexual offender subject to conditional release supervision; requires district school boards to notify the Department of Corrections regarding school bus stop locations; prohibits school boards from establishing new school bus stops within 1,000 feet of the residence of sex crime offenders.
