HB 1041 CS (2004) -  Public Records Exemptions

Exempts from public records requirements certain financial records held by the Department of Financial Services, with exceptions; exempts from public records requirements certain personal photographic information held by the department, with exceptions; exempts from public records requirements certain databases subscribed to by the department; exempts a list of holders under investigation or examination from public records requirements; authorizes the department to provide such information to certain agencies or organizations, with exceptions; providing for future legislative review and repeal; provides criminal penalties for disclosure of confidential records; provides findings of public necessity; provides for future legislative review and repeal; repeals an exemption from certain public records requirements for financial records held by the Department of Financial Services.
Effective Date: October 1, 2004, if HB 1039 or substantially similar legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes a law
