Provides for automatic restoration of former felons' right to vote following completion and satisfaction of sentence of incarceration and community supervision; provides conditions for such automatic restoration; provides effect contingent on passage of authorizing constitutional amendment.
Effective Date: on the effective date of House Joint Resolution 271 or another amendment to the State Constitution which authorizes, or removes impediments to, enactment of this act by the Legislature.
