HB 1393 (2005) -  Behavioral Health Service Delivery

Requires the Department of Children and Family Services to enter into a noncompetitive contract with the North East Florida Addictions Network to establish a single managing entity for five service districts of the department to deliver substance abuse services to child protective services recipients; requires the department and the network to develop and implement a plan; requires the department to initiate implementation of the substance abuse delivery component of this program without delay in the expansion districts; requires the department to furnish status reports to the appropriate substantive committees of the Legislature by specified dates; requires the department to monitor and evaluate the expansion project.
Effective Date: July 1, 2005.
