Gaming:
Provides for slot machines to be operated in certain pari-mutuel facilities by the Division of Pari-mutuel Wagering of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation; provides purpose and intent; provides for implementation of s. 23, Art. X of the State Constitution; provides definitions; provides responsibility and authority of the division; provides for adoption of rules; provides for a program to address economic and social problems associated with gambling; provides for vendors, disclosure, and contract requirements; provides for application by pari-mutuel permitholders seeking to offer slot machine gaming; prohibits certain manufacturers and distributors and officers, directors, and employees of such manufacturers and distributors from having any ownership or financial interest in a pari-mutuel facility or pari-mutuel permitholder offering slot machine gaming; provides exceptions; provides for suspension of operations for violation; provides for the division to enter into contracts for the acquisition of slot machines and other goods or services; provides for contracts with the division for installation and operation of slot machines; provides for employee records check; provides conditions for slot machine operations; provides for inspection of facilities; provides for method of wagers; provides limitation on amount wagered; prohibits fee for participation; provides authorization to participate in slot machine game play; provides for refusal of access for certain reasons; prohibits slot machine game play by minors; prohibits interference with the operation of a slot machine to avoid payment or manipulate the outcome of play; provides penalties; provides for seizure and destruction of any object used for such interference; provides for distribution of moneys collected; provides for actions upon certain violations; provides criminal penalties; provides for injunction restraining violations; provides for administrative procedures relating to rules and contracts; provides for application; authorizes the division to adopt emergency rules.
