HB 455 CS (2006) -  Change of Name

Requires that a petition for a change of name include two sets of fingerprints and a processing fee; provides duties of the clerk of the court with respect to forwarding sets of fingerprints to the Department of Law Enforcement for purposes of the state and national criminal history records check and for duties following the granting of a petition; revises when hearings on certain change of name petitions may occur.
Effective Date: July 1, 2006.
