Public Records and Public Meetings Exemptions: Provides for confidentiality of documents and information of a health maintenance organization relating to risk-based capital; provides an exemption from specified disclosure requirements; exempts from public meetings requirements hearings conducted by the Office of Insurance Regulation relating to a health maintenance organization's risk-based capital reports and plans; provides hearing requirements; provides exceptions; provides for termination of the exemptions; provides for future review and repeal; provides a finding of public necessity.
Effective Date: January 1, 2007, if House Bill 1277 or similar legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension thereof and becomes a law.
