Lobbying: Deletes provisions requiring Legislative Auditing Committee to conduct random audits of compensation reports filed by legislative branch & executive branch lobbying firms; revises provisions relating to reporting requirements for legislative lobbyists & lobbyists of executive branch & Constitution Revision Commission; removes requirement that each lobbying firm & principal maintain records & documents for specified period; removes provision specifying judicial jurisdiction for enforcing right to subpoena documents & records for audit; removes requirements for each lobbying firm to file quarterly compensation reports; removes requirement that Legislature adopt rules authorizing legislative committees to investigate lobbying firms upon receipt of specified information; removes provision authorizing Commission on Ethics to adopt rules & forms relating to compensation reporting; removes provisions relating to electronic compensation report filing requirements.
