SB 144 (2008) -  Female Inmates Who are Parents of Minor Children [LPCC]

Provides legislative intent that each female inmate in the state correctional system be assigned, whenever possible, to a correctional facility that is located in close proximity to the residence of the inmate's minor children so that she can maintain contact through visitation. Requires the Department of Corrections to collect information concerning the minor children of female inmates, etc.
