General Bill by Health and Human Services Appropriations and Judiciary and Crist (CO-SPONSORS) Gaetz; Lynn
Developmentally Disabled/Guardian Advocates [SPCC]: Requires the court to conduct determination of incapacity of persons with developmental disabilities and appointment of guardian advocates in separate proceedings. Revises conditions relating to venue for appointment of guardian advocates. Provides a process for restoration of rights for the person with a developmental disability. Provides for the petitioner to submit evidentiary support to the court, etc.
