CS/SB 1968 (2008) -  Health Insurance [EPCC]

by General Government Appropriations and Posey (CO-SPONSORS) Storms
Requires an identification card containing specified information to be given to insureds under health benefit plans and group health insurance policies and persons having health care services through health maintenance contracts. Provides that a company that contracts with the state to provide medical services to enrollees in the state group insurance program is exempt from updating ID cards that were issued before a specified date, etc.
