Fire Prevention and Control: Revises various provisions of chapter 633, F.S.; provides for firesafety in educational facilities; specifies uniform firesafety standards; provides for periodic inspections of property by district school boards; provides for inspections of educational property by State Fire Marshal; provides for inspections of public postsecondary education facilities; provides for actions to correct firesafety deficiencies; abolishes special state firesafety inspector classifications; provides for certification as firesafety inspectors; establishes Arson and Destructive Device Reward Program within DFS; authorizes DFS to pay awards for information leading to arrests; revises requirements for firefighter training & certification; revises provisions for disciplinary actions for firefighters; revises provisions relating to agents of State Fire Marshal; repeals provisions relating to specified agents' powers.
