SB 2440 (2008) -  Drug Court Programs/Court Costs [LPCC]

Authorizes counties to fund treatment-based drug court programs through an additional mandatory court cost. Provides for a $6 assessment against persons who plead guilty or no contest to, or are convicted of, certain drug-abuse prevention and control provisions or certain local ordinances or uniform traffic control laws involving alcohol or other substance use or abuse, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
