HB 1315 (2008) -  Child Custody and Visitation

Revises application of rebuttable presumption that parent is detriment to his or her child if he or she is convicted of crime involving domestic violence from felony of third degree or higher to misdemeanor of first degree or higher; requires court to make explicit written findings that, when determining best interests of child for purposes of shared parental responsibility & visitation, court considered evidence of domestic violence & child abuse.
