General Bill
Highway Safety:
Creates "Deputy Michael Callin, Michael Haligowski, & Deputy Ryan C. Seguin Memorial Traffic Safety Act"; requires motor vehicle being driven by person whose driver license or driving privilege is canceled, suspended, revoked, or disqualified to be impounded or immobilized; provides for notice to driver, owners, insurers, & lienholders; provides for payment of costs and fees, release of motor vehicle, & sale of unclaimed motor vehicle; requires DHSMV records to contain impoundment & immobilization information; provides for immobilized motor vehicle found being operated upon any street or highway in state before release from immobilization to be seized & subject to forfeit; directs department to inform drivers of provisions for impoundment & immobilization.
