General Bill
Mobile Home and Recreational Vehicle Parks:
Specifies laws & rules to be enforced by DOH; revises applicability of recreational vehicle park requirements to mobile home parks; revises permit requirements; provides construction review & approval requirements for private parks & camps; revises permit application requirements; revises & provides fees charged to operators of certain parks or camps; authorizes persons to request from department review of plans for proposed park or camp; requires certain construction & renovation plans to be submitted to department for review & approval; requires department to establish certain fees; provides department with additional rulemaking authority; provides for state preemption of regulatory & permitting authority for certain standards for parks & camps; increases penalty for operation of park or camp without permit; repeals provisions relating to posting & advertising of certain site rates; provides requirements for establishment of separation & setback distances; deletes provision requiring guest registers to be made available for inspection by department at any time; revises requirements for handling of unclaimed property; provides penalty for failure to depart from park under certain circumstances; bars operator from certain liability.
