Children's Promise Zones:
Renames "children's zones" as "children's promise zones"; revises legislative findings & intent & policy & purpose; requires governing body to establish children's promise zone planning team; provides powers & responsibilities of planning team; revises provisions relating to strategic community plan; provides for additional focus areas; renames & extends duration of pilot project; provides for corporation to be administered by DCFS; revises composition of board of directors; provides for department to enter into contract with not-for-profit corporation to implement children's promise zone program; authorizes Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida to retain certain interest earnings to finance project activities; requires annual documentation of interest earnings & expenditures.
