CS/SB 654 (2010) -  Compensation for Wrongful Incarceration [SPSC]

Requires that a petition for compensation include clear and convincing evidence of actual innocence. Requires the petitioner to submit fingerprints for criminal history records checks. Requires that the results of the criminal history records checks be submitted to the clerk of the court. Provides for compensation of reasonable attorney's fees and expenses, up to $50,000, incurred for pursuing compensation for wrongful incarceration, etc.
