Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute: Saves from scheduled repeal under Open Government Sunset Review Act exemption from public records & public meetings requirements for not-for-profit corporation of H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute & its subsidiaries; clarifies & reorganizes exemption; expands public records exemption to include identity of donor or prospective donor to not-for-profit corporation or subsidiary who wishes to remain anonymous, rather than donor or prospective donor of property who wishes to remain anonymous; expands public records exemption to include patentable materials received, generated, ascertained, or discovered during course of research; narrows public meetings exemption for governing board of not-for-profit corporation & its subsidiaries to include only those portions of meetings wherein confidential & exempt information is discussed; provides for future legislative review & repeal of exemption; provides statement of public necessity.
