While I voted no to this act primarily because I oppose the $100 million cut from the Transportation Trust Fund included in this legislation, I fully support the provisions that will ensure that bans government contracts from outsourcing workers overseas. Our state and nation has seen an erosion of American jobs---jobs that are permanently leaving our nation, going to countries like India, Vietnam, Taiwan, and even Communist China. I think we all can agree that American workers and American jobs should come first.
I do hope that the final bill will include the ban on shipping jobs overseas and will not have the Transportation budget cut.

I intended to vote for the implementing bill but pushed the wrong button.
I am concerned about the Transportation Trust Fund and voted for an amendment by Rep. Kosmas to preserve it.
