205.1973 Telemarketing businesses; consumer protection.—A county or municipality may not issue or renew a business tax receipt for the operation of a telemarketing business under ss. 501.604 and 501.608, unless such business exhibits a current license or registration from the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services or a current affidavit of exemption.History.—s. 3, ch. 93-235; s. 30, ch. 2006-152.
