HB 1375 (2004) -  Naturopathic Medicine

Reinstitutes regulation of naturopathic medicine through licensure; creates the Board of Naturopathic Medicine within the Department of Health for such purpose; specifies authority of the department and the board with respect to such regulation, including discipline; provides for fees; prohibits certain acts and provides penalties; provides licensure requirements and exemptions from licensure; provides for the applicability of certain rights to naturopathic physicians who have certain qualifications; changes the title of ch. 462, F.S., from "Naturopathy" to "Naturopathic Medicine" and conforms terminology throughout the chapter; provides that certain rights and privileges of active licensees are retained; updates a saving clause.
