Provides or revises grounds for discipline of a health care practitioner relating to failure to fully disclose medical licensure, postgraduate education, and scope of practice to patients and in advertisements and on informed consent forms; provides requirements for approval of boards granting medical specialty certification; requires physicians who hold themselves out as board-certified specialists to have successfully completed a specified residency program.
Effective Date: This act shall take effect July 1, 2003
